First off I would like to give a huge shoutout to group sponsor Trusty Sail & Paddle. Thankyou for helping to make this happen and for cooking some amazing food and awesome ice cold beer. It felt like a little family reunion.

The April salt water showdown in Beaufort, NC was not necessarily the best fishing day for most but we could not have asked for a better day on the water especially at the beach! The awesome smoked pork and deserts from Trusty and also some amazing group members was just the icing on the cake. We also had MasterBait company set up a table with free baits for everyone.

We had 22 members fishing and even a few more just fishing and hanging out (which we always encourage)

Sheepshead

1st place : 39" Larry Jones

2nd place : 36.75" Chris Gyer

3r place : 36.25" Max Collins

Redfish

1st place : 43" Jacob Quist

2nd place : Bob Hills

TRASH FISH

Winner with an eel measuring 28" Max Collins

Black Drum had no entries so all the money for that category will be rolling over to the next tournament. (Black drum only)

I would like to thank our other sponsors as well Nocqua Adventure Gear Louisiana Custom Kayaks , Kayak Kushion, Pettiford Creek Custom Lures , Topwater Co, Muskie Bumper, YakGadget and Phoenix Sign Pros.

Without everyone these tournaments wouldn't be possible and I would just like to thank our members who always show the group love by coming out and participating keeping this group alive! 2024 has been an awesome year already and i can't wait to see what's in store for the future.
