These are the rules for the 2024 Tournaments!!

Blounts Creek 1st, Belhaven 2nd, Jacksonville 5th Oriental 7th and Vandemere 8th

Main tournament will consist of a 4 trout limit ($60.00)

1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes for main tournament.

Categories will be: Heaviest LIMIT of trout! (Main)

Heaviest single trout (TWT) $10.00

Longest red fish (TWT) $10.00

Beaufort 3rd, Southport 4th, North Topsail 6th

Main tournament will consist of Redfish , Sheepshead and Black drum. All three will be judged by the total length of your 3 longest fish for each category.

$70 for the main tournament.

$10 Trash fish (TWT)

Categories will be:

LONGEST 3 red fish (Main)

LONGEST 3 black drum ( Main)

LONGEST 3 sheepshead ( Main)

3rd, 4th and 6th tournaments will also have a longest trash fish category which will also be judged by length (any non tournament fish) ($10.00) TWT

There is an option to pre pay for all 8 MAIN tournaments (SIDE POTS ARE NOT INCLUDED) The total amount due is $460 which is a 10% discount. Doing this basically gives you one free tournament entree with the discount.

Must be purchased before first tournament.

There will also be another year long tournament for trout series/trail. It will consist of 5 tournaments. This will be based on a points system. You will get 5 points just for showing up and points for placement will be based on total weight of 4 trout. At the end of the trail/series there will be prizes given to the top 3 placements. Results will be posted after each tournament. This will not cost any additional money to be in the tournament.

For ALL tournaments you must have a solid fixed measuring board or a folding board. NO SLIDING boards will be allowed for tournaments.

Any fish longer than your board will only be counted for the length of your board so please try and have a 30" board or bigger.

We Kindly ask participants to wear thier PFDs (lifejackets) at all times. Only Participants wearing their PFDs will be featured on the website and Facebook.  We want for everyone to be safe on the water. 

FOR ALL tournaments you must purchase and wear a tournament bracelet that must be in any pictures of fish for the tournament. Picture must be clear and if not it will be the judges decision as to what he can see.

There will be 3 different bracelets that we will rotate through during the course of the year. Bracelet color will be determined the morning.

Only 1 bracelet allowed on for tournaments.

Captains meeting will be held 15 min before launch time!

All tournaments will start 30 minutes before daylight.

Deadline for sign-in will be at daylight.

Lines out will be at 2:00 pm

Weigh ins will start at 1:00 pm

You must be at ramp by 2:30 pm

After 2:30 pm there will be either 1 inch or 1 ounce taken off per minute you are late. After 15 min you will be DISQUALIFIED.

If there is a tie during weigh ins there will be a reweigh and if still tie then it will go to the first person that weighted in 

**Anyone who is not staying for weigh ins MUST NOTIFY ME NATHANPATE OR RADIO OUT. **

Artificial and live bait are both allowed!

If you are able to make 6 out of the 8 tournaments, the 8th one being mandatory to be eligible, your name will be put into a drawing for an awesome prize from our sponsors!

There will be NO Outboards, Jon Boats or Row Boats. Trolling motors ARE allowed. KAYAKS and SUPs ONLY

Must follow ALL NC SAFETY regulations!

For any giveaways after awards you must be present to be eligible for any prizes.
